Battle of the Books

Congratulations DV Team! 2017-18 District Winners

Diablo Vista's Battle of the Books Team brought home the winner's trophy from our district competition.  Our team scored highest of all other middle schools who participated this year.  Team members read 10 books, and answered detailed questions about the contents.  What a great accomplishment.

Students read 10 books, remember details from them, and compete with other Battle of the Books participants.  The highest scoring participant will be the DV Battle of the Books winner.


The 12 highest scoring students will qualify for the Battle of the Books team. Our team will compete in a District-wide competition on March 28 at Dougherty High School.
