California Junior Scholarship Federation

CJSF

Founded in 1967, CJSF (California Junior Scholarship Federation) fosters high standards of scholarship, service and citizenship in the junior high and middle school grades. CJSF, like CSF (California Scholarship Federation, the high school equivalent of CJSF), emphasizes service in the school and the community while fostering pride in scholastic achievement.

Join CJSF

CJSF or the California Junior Scholarship Federation is an afterschool club open to students in 7th and 8th grade who have earned a place on the Gold or Silver Honor Roll in the Spring of 2012. Download the application on schoolloop or stop by the Library to pick up an application. Applications are due by October 17.

CJSF will meet in the library on the last Thursday of every month from 2:50-3:30. Attendance at meetings is not required, but is recommended. Our first meeting in two weeks will be the election of officers. Prepare a short speech to inform the membership of your desire and qualifications for the office you want to hold. Members may share an office with another member and run as a team, such as Co-Presidents. Offices available are President, Vice President, Secretary, Sgt. at Arms.

Members of CJSF may also attend the field trip to Cal Berkeley in May. So check schoolloop or stop by the library for your application to CJSF.
